There are several types of Bloggers in the internet universe.
The writers. These Bloggers express their feelings and opinions in an essay format. They usually go through spurts of ideas that they type up for scheduled posts. They like big words, have notebooks full of ideas, dreams, hopes and fears.
The updaters. These bloggers like to update their blog frequently with pictures of them with family and friends, stories of their most recent adventures. They like to share (and sometimes explain) inside jokes.
The commenters. These bloggers don't have alot of posts on their blog, but have quite a few followers. They LOVE the 'Next Blog' button, and click it relentlessly. Every new blog that pops up is a new opportunity to comment and promote their blog. They also have a tendency to follow blogs and never check them again.
The promisers. These bloggers have many notebooks, just like the writers. However, these notebooks are filled with new ideas and plans that are rarely fulfilled. These bloggers also promise new plans for their blog and forget about them.
The designers. These bloggers create new blogs just for the thrill of having a blank slate. They don't worry about the content of their blog as much as the layout. thecutestblogontheblock is their homepage. (Note, that had autocorrected to Australopithecus at first)
Which one are you? Let me know in the comments. :) Also, if you think of any others, leave those in the comments also.
Note: I'm all of the above, I wrote out each one of these from my own experience, I was NOT making fun of any of the blogs I follow.

I was planning on filming for V.E.T. today.
Then I killed my camera.
I dropped it from the stairs.
I'll still film tonight, you guys can get some insight into what my Christmas Eve's are like. (Interesting, to say the least ;) ) But the quality will be not as great as I was hoping.
See you Tuesday! :D

Quick Christmas fact #1: Did you know in the song '12 Days of Christmas', five golden rings is actually talking about ring necked pheasants? Somewhere in the translations the actually definition got mixed up.

January
Okay, so next Saturday I'm not going to do a blog post, being it's going to be Christmas Eve and all.
In January I'm going to start a new schedule, and I'm going to stick with it.
I"m going to do a normal blog post every Saturday.
On Tuesdays, however, i'm going to start something new.
V.E.T. Vlog. Every. Tuesday.
This is where I post a video of what I've been up to, or I'll rant about something, or I'll just do something random. ;)

Flexibility (and my lack thereof)
I'm not flexible.
Because of this, I've learned that it takes lots of work and lots of dedication to improve your flexibility. Then it takes even more dedication to maintain that flexibility, and at the same time, trying to continue to improve it.
It's the same way with God and His Word. If we want to strengthen our faith, it won't happen overnight.
It takes lots of work and dedication to maintain that faith and at the same time, always working on improving it.
When stretching, you know it hurts to wear jeans. You're just not going to get very far. You wear sweatpants, or a skirt and tights. You have to change your clothes to be more comfortable and get further into your stretch.
Same with God. Until you change from your old, sinful life, you're never going to be comfortable with God. You need to change your life to be able to 'stretch' with God.
You don't need to change your whole life, or your whole outfit. Try to pick up your Bible every once and a while, don't let it collect dust. Pray every night before you go to bed.
You'll notice that as you slowly change your life for the better, you'll be able to stretch further and further and become more and more comfortable in your life with God.
During you stretching routine, if you miss a few days in a row, you'll be more and more inclined to miss more and more days.
Again, same with God and His Word. If you skip an opportunity to pray, or a chance to read your Bible, you will become more and more inclined to miss more of those opportunities. You (and I) will get in the mindset of 'Well, I missed one day, what will one more missed day do?'
I'm speaking from experience. That, my friends, is a bad mindset to be in.

God Is 2 Kinds Of Awesome
In the Bible, awesome is defined as awe inspiring.
In the Bible, awesome is usually used to describe something that is beautiful. So beautiful that it has the capability of taking your breath away.
According to the Bible, you would use the word 'awesome' to describe something like the Grand Canyon. Or Niagra Falls. Something that once you saw it, you wouldn't be able to wait to tell your friends about it. Or post about it on Facebook.
Awesome is a powerful word.
God is awesome. He is awe inspiring. He is beautiful.
Today, I hear the word 'awesome' everywhere. I use the word 'awesome' everywhere. I don't think twice about it.
'Dude, the -insert popular movie here- was such and awesome movie!'
'Have you tried that awesome new diet?'
'That party last night was totally awesome!'
'It was SO AWESOME!'
Was that diet really awe inspiring? Was that new popular movie really that beautiful?
Of course not! Awesome is a completely new word now! Awesome mean 'hip', 'cool', 'trendy'. Awesome is a word that's used loosely now. But notice, God still fits the definition!
God may not be considered 'cool' or 'hip' or even that 'trendy', but he is!
When people think about God, they think of an hour of sitting still in church, singing 'boring' hymns and reciting things from the Bible.
God is so much more than church. God cares about you personally. Hate to break it to you, but God loves you so much more than Edward Cullen will ever love you.
Try reading 1 John. It include such a more romantic love story than Twilight ever will be.
If you read the Bible, it's so much more relevant than you would think.
There are verses about staying up too late. There are verses about worrying about what you wear and what you buy. There are verses, no, chapters about love, hate life death and what happens after death.
Try this:
'Dude, that sermon was so awesome!'
'Have you tried reading the Bible? It's awesome!'
'Church last night was totally awesome!'
'He is SO AWESOME!'

I'm Still Alive ;)
Yeah, I've been gone for awhile...tee-hee
I do have a couple of posts planned for the future, but I don't have time to type them up right now.
I'm headed off to my dad's side of the family for Thanksgiving, then tomorrow I'll be going to Wausau to celebrate an early Christmas with my mom's side. :)
So yes, I'm still here, and you should be hearing from me again shortly.

About a month ago, I went on a kick of reading books by Steven James (who just so happen to used to have worked at Camp Phillip ) There were just a point from one of his books I really liked and thought I'd mention here. :)
The point was about God and how complex he is, he had no beginning, he's been around forever and he always will be. I don't know about you, but for me, that's nearly impossible to wrap my head around.
Not only is he eternal, but he made EVERYTHING! You know your science books, where it explains how all the planets move and stay suspended in space, and how the atmosphere works and wonderful stuff like that? He made ALL of that. That's AMAZING to me!!!
The point Steven James made though, was HOW could someone have made God up? He's so complex and amazing that we can't fully understand him, so how could he not be real? No one is smart enough to make up something they can't understand!
Human brains aren't capable of understanding everything about this world, so how can we assume that it was because of us that things are here, we also can't assume the world was created in an explosion, how could it have been? The world around us is so amazingly complex, as are our bodies themselves, to not believe that God created it all would have to take an impossible about of faith that none of us are capable of.

I Didn't Believe Them
All I wanted to be when I was little was older. People always told me I'd regret wanted to be older, that I'd want to be little again later in life.
Now that I'm 'older' (though, by the worlds standards, I'm still a child) all I want to be is a little kid again.
You took for granted running in the grass barefoot and not worrying about a single thing.
The days biggest challenge was seeing how high you could swing on the park swingset.
The worst part of the day was bedtime.
You didn't understand why mom and dad didn't want to go outside and play at six in the morning.
When Steve couldn't figure something out on Blue's Clues it was the funniest thing in the world.
In a few years you'll look back on right now and wish you could go back.
Make the most of right now, don't take for granted what you may not have tomorrow.
