Trailer Talk

Hi,

Yesterday Mom and Dad went to my uncles house to deliver his flat screen TV.
My Grandparents have been keeping for a year or two, Dad rented a trailer from UHAUL to bring it to him.
So Henry, Gracie and I got to stay at our Grandparents for a few hours.
Well, I didn't see it happen, but I heard about it afterwards.

Grace and Grandma were playing with this little Winnie the Pooh house thing.
It turns out that Pooh died, so Grace had to search for the killer.

There's a TV show called Monk, it's about an OCD detective. There's always a murder at the beginning of the show then Monk has to figure out who killed the guy (or girl).
We are over half-way through the second season.
I think Grace has been paying more attention then we thought.

OK, thanks to you and your family we are now hooked on Monk. John even wants to be Adrian Monk when he grows up. Well, a combination of Monk and Mater. Maybe Monk with buck teeth and a strong southern accent.

Aside from enjoying the show, I find the contrast between the opening scene with the brutal murders and the opening theme music's happy jazzy freshness.

Oh, Yip-yip-yipee,
I just saw
a ba-rutal murder.
I, I must find out,
how it went about
With my disorder:

I just can't stand,
For it was planned,
And I'm all torn-up
If I could just
Find the way
That this took place
I would be a happy man.

Folks just don't understand.
My life's not bland.
I enjoy it much.
But if you want to find
Some peace of mind,
And catch the bad guy

Just call me up,
The name is Monk.
And I will
Sur-ely get the criminal.

As you can see
I suffer from
O. C. D.-

But bad guys flunk
When you call Monk,
Now I must
Wash my hand.

Well, maybe I didn't get the meter right all the time. And maybe the rhyme doesn't always work.

But thanks for suggesting a fun TV series.

Uncle Joe
