Glee
So, I was planning on doing a post about the Superbowl with random facts and videos etc. So, I start by looking up information on Yahoo and I click on the first link.
It's a story about Glee, hence the change in subject.
If you haven't heard about Glee, the synopsis on aceshowbiz.com says:
The one-hour series follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school's Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of them all: Nationals.
McKinley High School's Glee Club used to be at the top of the show choir world, but years later, a series of scandals have turned it into a haven for misfits and social outcasts. Will Schuester has offered to take on the Herculean task of restoring the Glee Club to its former glory.
Nothing against Glee, it's plot, or it's actors, it just seems to be taking over the world.
Glee currently has 11,353,788 fans on Facebook.
Every time I refresh the page 5 more people are added to that number.
Jesus has 261,618.
Just saying.
People need to get their priorities straight.

Interesting! Yeah, everyone seems to be obsessed with " Glee" but it's not really that great. Well, that's my opinion anyway! Yup, Jesus is so much more than Glee! Agreed Maddi!
Good point, Maddi, but...
Not all Christians feel like they have to use fB to promote Christianity.
I mean, I don't ever repost those things that come around implying the if I *truly* believe, I'll repost it.
Just like I don't ever pass on those e-mails that say similar things.
My mission work is done on other ways. If I click to "like" Jesus, what does it accomplish.
But if a friend posts something that elicits a Biblical response, that maybe does accomplish something, and sometimes even maybe in the life of more people than just the one I'm responding to.
I don't know anything about glee, BTW. But I have been curious, just because of the number of people talking about it. I asked Uncle Joe and he said, "High school musical."
I think every commerical break during the Super Bowl contained a promo for "Glee."
Spare us the insanity. I be very gleeful about that prospect. ;o)
