Do you ever stop and look at your life, and you realize it's going by not only in a blur, but what seems like a whirlwind around you?
A different extra-curricular activity everyday, projects and assignments that have to get done by tomorrow, people you have to call, lines to memorizes, tests to cram for, gifts to finish, etc. etc.
Take a deep breath.
Sometimes life seems to be going by too quickly, but it's so very important to treasure every moment you have. These are the best years of your life, and it's so easy to forget that we only have one chance.
It's also very easy to get so wrapped up in everything we're doing day after day, to forget WHY we're here. We're here to learn about God and every wonderful thing he's done for us, and tell what we know to other people.
Everyday is a gift, not a promise.
P.S., This might have posted twice, I'm not sure. Blogger has been acting weird lately.

In a word: yes. Life is like a whirlwind.
But you're right. I need to look beyond -- look to the pigtailed baby sister giggling and running around with a banana squashed in her fist. Notice how the sunshine makes the grass look greener on my side of the fence. Remember that life is a gift...not a promise.
Thanks, Maddi.
It's so necessary to stop and find the good things in life. Sometimes, in the rush, we overlook them. :)
Good job, Maddi. :)
