If I had a dollar for every time...

...one of our dogs got caught in a mousetrap, well, I wouldn't be rich, but I couldn't think of a different clever way of segwaying into this post. :)

Today, one of our dogs, PJ, got his foot stuck in a sticky mouse trap, and this hasn't been the first time. The last time though, he was able to get it off right away, today however, it took him all afternoon.

First he tried waving his paw around in the air to try and shake it off. That did nothing but get the rest of his paw stuck. Then he started chewing it off, this got a big chunk on his lip, but he kept going at it. After maybe an hour or so, he got all but one little bit off, and I could see it would be easy to pull it off, but he wouldn't let me.

So, it was off to get the muzzle. Bad idea. He got the muzzle off in about ten seconds by standing on his hind legs and hitting it with his paws (and almost knocking a lamp over). THEN, he got the muzzle stuck to his foot and ANOTHER chunk on his leg. Needless to say, he eventually got it all off, but it made for an eventful afternoon. :)

LOL! Would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that afternoon!

That was not grammatically correct but I'm oxygen deprived...or something.

Don't forget the part where he got all the glue on the $200 couch, or when he got some stuck on Scooby.
